Marian rose to fame as a ramp and commercial model in her elementary days, and this led to her to getting discovered by TAPE Inc. executive producer, Tony Tuviera. It was in 2007 when she got her big break in showbiz playing the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of Mexican telenovela 'Marimar.' The show became the highest-rated primetime drama on Philippine television at that time.
Since then, she has continued to star in Kapuso teleseryes and blockbuster films. Outside of showbiz, Marian has also used her star power to help victims of calamities, raise awareness of the rights of women and children, and animal welfare protection.
In 2014, she tied the knot with Dingdong Dantes in what was dubbed as the "royal wedding of the century." The following year, they welcomed their first child, Maria Letizia "Zia" Dantes. In 2019, Marian gave birth to their son, Jose Sixto Dantes IV.
She has also launched her own business, Florida Vida by Marian, while being a full-time mom and actress. Marian also made history when she became one of the judges in Miss Universe 2021.
